【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoproducein-planeshearpropertydataformaterialspecifications,researchanddevelopment,qualityassurance,andstructuraldesignandanalysis.Factorsthatinfluencetheshearresponseandshouldthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:material,methodsofmaterialpreparationandlay-up,specimenstackingsequenceandoverallthickness,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignmentandgripping,speedoftesting,timeattemperature,voidcontent,andvolumepercentreinforcement.Propertiesthatmaybederivedfromthistestmethodincludethefollowing:5.1.1In-planeshearstressversusshearstrainresponse,5.1.2In-planeshearchordmodulusofelasticity,5.1.3Offsetshearproperties,5.1.4Maximumin-planeshearstressforax00B1;45x00B0;laminate,and5.1.5Maximumin-planeshearstrainforax00B1;45x00B0;laminate.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthein-planeshearresponseofpolymermatrixcompositematerialsreinforcedbyhigh-modulusfibers.Thecompositematerialformislimitedtoacontinuous-fiber-reinforcedcomposite177;45176;laminatecapableofbeingtensiontestedinthelaminatedirection.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.
