【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsforachievinginteroperabilitybetweensystemsinlearning,educationandtraining.Thestandardisapplicableacrossallsectorsandlevelsoflearning,educationandtraining.Thestandarddescribesanoverallapproachformaximizinginteroperability,whichisapplicableacrossdifferenttypesofinteroperabilityrequirement.Thestandarddescribesgeneralmechanismsformappingbetweendifferentvocabulariesbutdoesnotproviderecommendationsorrestrictionsrelatingtothechoiceofvocabularywithinanyindividualsituation.Thestandardmakesrecommendationsabouttheadvantagesindifferentcontextsofdifferentencodingmechanisms(e.g.XMLDTD,XMLschema,RDF)formetadatatoenhanceinteroperabilitybutdoesnotprescribetheuseofanyparticularencodingmechanism.Thestandarddoesnotprovidemechanismsforevaluatingorcomparingtheeducationalvalueoflearningresources.Thestandardisintendedtooptimize,ratherthancompletelyremove,humaninteractioninthetransferofinformationbetweensystems.
