【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodprovidesauniformprocedureforradiographicexaminationofweldmentsusingindustrialradiographicfilm.Requirementsexpressedinthismethodareintendedtocontrolthequalityoftheradiographicimagesandarenotintendedforcontrollingacceptabilityorqualityofwelds.1.2Theradiographicextent,thequalitylevel,andtheacceptancecriteriatobeappliedshallbespecifiedinthecontract,purchaseorder,productspecification,ordrawings.1.3Theradiographictechniquesstatedhereinprovideadequateassurancefordefectdetectability;however,itisrecognizedthat,forspecialapplications,specifictechniquesusingmoreorlessstringentrequirementsmayberequiredthanthosespecified.Inthesecases,theuseofalternativeradiographictechniquesshallbeasagreeduponbetweenpurchaserandsupplier(alsoseeSection).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Formorespecificsafetyprecautionaryinformation,seeSection.)
